My name is Neal Ashburn and I am the Founder and Cheif Detailer of Innovative Speed Shop.

My love of cars started when I was young. I loved hanging out with my dad in the garage, going to local car shows and cruise-ins.  When I got older, I continued that love by working at local garages and filling stations after high school.

In 2000, I opened my first business! It was a mobile oil, lube and detail business. I performed detailing and preventative maintenance services on-site at area dealerships, fleet businesses, offices and homes.  In 2001, on my 21st birthday, Parkway Service Center opened its doors! We specialied in complete auto detailing and auto maintenance services. By 2002, I had moved Parkway Service Center to a new location in Concord, NC. We quickly became one of the top automotive facilities in the area. We thrived on providing high quality services to our customers. Throughout the years, we performed work on everything from classic and collectable cars, rare and exotic cars, RV's and travel trailers, and boats. Not to mention the thousands of daily drivers.

In 2004, I made my first big business mistake! I sold Parkway Service Center as a turn-key business to a gentleman that had been coming by the shop for weeks asking questions about how to start his own garage.  With my wedding only a couple months away, and our first home under a big remodel, I really didn't take the time to think about what I was doing or what I was going to do after I sold the business.  After my honeymoon, with the love of my life Sonya, I went to work for my In-Laws  who own a commercial electrical construction business. After missing working around cars, I left the family business to start selling automotive equipment and supplies. I really enjoy helping dealerships and garage owners on what I know best. After spending a couple of years helping my customers, I found that I missed the people, the cars and the love of detailing automobiles. After many years of people asking me to get back in the business of cleaning cars, I decide to start back doing what I love.

I realized early on that my customer's had high expectations, not only about final auto detail results, but the products used to acheive those results. I have assembled the most professional, highest quality of detailing products available in the car care market today. Our products are formulated by real car people not a chemist in a lab.
